Joy Zedler, Aldo Leopold Professor Emerita and author, will discuss how citizens can protect and manage wetlands on Tuesday, May 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Verona Public Library. Zedler’s new children’s book, Sandhill Crane Siblings, was donated to the library in support of nature conservation. Sandhill Crane Siblings will also be available for sale and signing. Proceeds from book sales will benefit the Friends of the Verona Public Library. This presentation is free and open to the public.
