Celebrate the music of Disney that has become so beloved by several generations of young people and adults. The Verona Public Library will host three programs for all ages on Sunday, May 5. At 2 p.m., enjoy Sea Creature Craft where kids of all ages can create an underwater animal that might come from the kingdom of The Little Mermaid. Disney Out Loud at 2:30 p.m. features Four Seasons Theatre performers singing the music of Disney animation, spanning the decades from Snow White to Frozen. Round out the day with Getting to the Source at 3 p.m. Professor Scott Mellor of UW-Madison, explores the origins of The Little Mermaid and leads a talk-back discussion exploring the meanings and adaptations of these stories. This event is made possible by Four Seasons Theatre with support from the Beyond the Page program, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Madison Community Foundation.
