Stargazing Event at Donald County Park

Join the Friends of Donald Park and Madison Area Astronomical Society at Donald County Park Saturday, August 15th at 8:00 pm.  We will gather at Pop's Knoll picnic area for a close-up look at the fabulous night sky.  Bring your family and friends and learn about the wonders of the planets and stars.  Bring your own telescope (if you have one), binoculars, chair or blanket, insect repellent and flashlight.  Volunteers from Madison Area Astronomical Society will give a brief presentation before the event begins.  In the event of rain or overcast skies, we will announce the cancellation on our websites by 4:00 pm.
