Lions Food Drive for Badger Prairie Need Network

Verona Lions To Hold Food Drive In an effort to help curb hungry in our community the Verona Lions will be holding a food drive to benefit the Badger Prairie Needs Network- Food Pantry. The food drive will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Miller & Sons Supermarket in Verona from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. As shoppers enter the store a member of the Verona Lions will hand them a list of food and non-food items needed by the pantry. Shoppers are encouraged to purchase one or more of the items as they shop. Collections boxes will be located near the store exit to drop off the donations. It is the club’s goal to collect 1,000 pounds of donated items that day. Cash and credit card donations will also be accepted for the pantry.
