All 72 counties in Wisconsin have seen cases of human trafficking. Rachel Monaco-Wilcox, JD, CEO/founder of LOTUS (Legal Options for Trafficked and Underserved Survivors) legal clinic for victims of crime and human trafficking, will address: • Misconceptions about sex trafficking; • The situation in Wisconsin; • The origin of the LOTUS legal clinic; • Ideas for how citizens can make a difference. This event is brought to you by the Wisconsin Humanities Council’s Working Lives, whose goal is to deepen and broaden the conversation about what it means to make a living and a life here.
