Description
Nominated for the 2017 WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) for Jazz Artist of the Year, Bill Hill is a fingerstyle guitarist and vocalist who has been a musician most of his life. He became interested in guitar when The Beatles first appeared on Ed Sullivan in 1964. Initially, Bill played folk and rock music, but over the years has studied classical, bluegrass, blues, country, and jazz. He now performs jazz standards from the 1920's to 1960's. This music - a rich blend of melody, lyric, rhythm and chordal harmony - brings back memories for many and piques interest for new listeners. For this performance, he'll sprinkle his playlist with plenty of holiday songs! FREE Performance (no cover). Taste our new food items! Sip delicious Fisher King wine (or cozy up to a craft beer)! Sit back and enjoy the show! Bill's show features the songs of Hoagie Carmichael, Billy Holiday, Johnny Mercer and George Gershwin - songs recorded by Nat King Cole, Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.
