DESCRIPTION:STARGAZING AND PERSEID METEOR SHOW AT DONALD PARK\n\n \n\nView the summer night planets and stars and watch the Perseid Meteor showers at Donald County Park\, Friday\, August 12th.  Friends of Donald Park and Madison Astronomical Society are partnering to give you a view of the fabulous night sky.  Bring your family and friends and learn about the wonders of planets and stars.  Telescopes\, refreshments and an evening fire will also be provided.  Volunteers from the Madison Astronomical Society will be available to point out the various planets and answer questions.\n\n \n\nMeet at the Pop's Knoll picnic area in Donald Park on Friday\, August 12th at 8:00 p.m.  In the event of rain or overcast sky we will announce the cancellation on our websites by 4:00 p.m.   For an update\, visit our websites at Friends of Donald Park www.donaldpark.org\, Madison Astronomical Society www.madisonastro.org.
