Have you ever wondered why the Verona Chamber doesn't have "All Member" meetings like, ever? It's because we have our Networking Lunches every second Wednesday of the month, 11:30 am- 1 pm. Networking and relationship building ARE a big part of our lunches (as well as the delicious food!), but that's not all there is to it. We incorporate as much information as we can into each hour and a half that you give us! 
 

1. New Member Recognition

Hear from our new members to the chamber. Sometimes it's a long time business owner who's joined our little community, or a a brand new start-up in Verona. Meeting and greeting these new businesses is a great way to strengthen the community bond and make them feel welcome.
 

2. Member Announcements

Do you ever do events at your business? Are you leading a volunteer organization and have a fundraising gala coming up? Have you hired a new person you want to introduce to the Chamber? There are many reasons to share news at our networking lunches. Get your event in the ear of valuable movers and shakers in the community who can help hype up your event and business news with their friends and colleagues. 
 

3. Chamber Announcements

Your Chamber always has a few things going on every month (Networking Lunches included) and while you're eating, we'll share with you all the details.  We also share information relevant to your business such as upcoming legislation, construction updates, major influxes of people coming into Verona (i.e: The UMG convention at Epic Campus that draws thousands into our little community) volunteer opportunities, sponsorship opportunities, and more. 
 

4. Meet your fellow Chamber Members

If you attend our lunches frequently, you'll find you're not always introducing yourself to new people. Sometimes you're seeing someone you've met a few times or many times at our events. This relationship building is an invaluable way to cement and grow your business and standing in the community. Like the Beatles song says "I get by with a little help from my friends".  Our networking lunches are kept pretty casual on purpose so you're not just talking shop all the time, but sharing personal stories about your families, interests and hobbies too. When you own a business in a small, tight-knit community like ours, that personal touch goes a LONG WAY. We promise.
 

5. Meet US!

The Chamber Staff is always in attendance at these events and are ready to answer questions, hear feedback, and chat about your business. If you're someone who's more comfortable talking face to face than over the phone or in an email, this is a great time to do just that! Le Jordan, our executive director, is always busy with meetings, paperwork and events and you can get her undivided (for the most part) attention at the lunch! Or if she is busy with other members, feel free to talk to Molly, Robin or Mona and we'll be able to share with Le back at the office.
