The Verona Public Library will host a film preview and discussion of the documentary The Vietnam War on Wednesday, December 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Jonathan Pollack, Ph.D., history professor at Madison College, will lead a discussion following a one-hour preview reel of The Vietnam War, Ken Burns and Lynn Novick’s epic story of one of the most consequential, divisive, and controversial events in American history. Two door prizes will be awarded: The Vietnam War film series on DVD, and the companion book, The Vietnam War. Programming for The Vietnam War, a film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, is offered as part of a grant from the American Library Association, PBS, and WETA Washington, D.C.
